Communication connection to the energy meter

Only energy meters approved by KOSTAL Solar Electric for use with the inverter may be used.

An up-to-date list of approved energy meters can be found on our homepage in the download area for the product.

• All devices must be connected to the Internet via LAN.
• The MDC host inverter must be connected to the energy meter (KEM or KSEM) via the RS485 interface. For the exact assignment of the RS485 connection, please refer to the energy meter manual.
