Settings on a KOSTAL Energy Meter (KEM)

If a KOSTAL Energy Meter (KEM) is used, no further settings are required.

 

Settings on a KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter

By default, no changes need to be made to the RS485 interfaces if the default settings for the RS485 interfaces are used. These are preconfigured as follows in the delivery state.

If changes need to be made to the settings, carry out the following steps:

  1. Open the web interface of the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter
  2. Open the Modbus configuration under Modbus settings.
  3. Select and activateinterface RS485 A or B.
  4. Under Default settings, select the inverter from the pull-down list, e.g. PLENTICORE / PIKO IQ.
    When selecting an inverter, the predefined default values are applied. These can be adjusted if necessary.
  5. Apply the settings by clicking on the Save button.
