Setting up devices in the KOSTAL Solar Portal

All KOSTAL inverters must be assigned to the same PV system in the KOSTAL Solar Portal.

First log in to the KOSTAL Solar Terminal at https://terminal.kostal-solar-electric.com
Select the KOSTAL Solar Portal tile.
Create a new system in the KOSTAL Solar Portal.
Now add all KOSTAL inverters located in the system to this system, as well as the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter.

Create a system in the KOSTAL Solar Portal

Log in to the KOSTAL Solar Portal.

Before you can register the inverter in the KOSTAL Solar Portal, it must be logged into the KOSTAL Solar Portal. After the initial setup in the inverter, this can take up to 20 minutes.
To set up an inverter, you must first create a system. To do this, click on the Add system button under the System overview heading.
The Create new system website appears. Here you can set up a system.

You can also create a system for someone else here (e.g. as an installer for a customer). To do this, click on the button for someone else. They will then be informed of the setup by email.
Enter the system data and click on Create.
The Create new device website will appear.
Enter the item number and serial number of the inverter here. These can be found on the type plate of the inverter. Click on Create.

If you do not yet have an inverter or it has not yet registered on the portal, you can also create the system without devices for the time being and add devices at a later date via the menu item System > Configuration > Add devices.
Once the inverter has been found, it will be added to the system.
Close the window using the Close button.
A summary will appear.
A system with an inverter has been created. Close the window using the Overview button.
The KOSTAL Solar Portal | System list website appears.
