Limitation of feed-in/purchase power

An optional limitation of the feed-in/purchase power is only implemented in the MDC host inverter and applies to the entire PV system with all inverters.

The settings are made under the menu item General > Grid connection.

Feed-in power limitation: Set the limitation for the grid connection point here. This can be, for example, 60% of the total installed PV power in the system network.
Example: Total installed PV power 20,000 W = 60% max. 12,000 W feed-in power

The active power is dynamically limited, taking into account the house consumption.

Limit on the supply power: Set the limit for the supply power for the grid connection point here. This should not be higher than the maximum load of the circuit breakers in the meter cabinet.
Example: 230 V x 35 A = 8050 W x 3 phases = 24150 W

If the configured power consumption is exceeded, the power of the controllable devices (e.g. external charging of a battery from the grid) is reduced by the inverter. Other devices in the household that are not controllable cannot be regulated by the inverter. Therefore, the limit should not be set too high so that the circuit breaker in the meter cabinet does not trip.
