Configuring digital inputs

If a limitation is required by the energy supplier, this should be configured via the digital inputs depending on the type of connected components.

A ripple control receiver, control box or smart meter gateway is always connected to the MDC host inverter. The MDC host inverter then distributes the received signals to all MDC client inverters and ensures correct curtailment.

For connection and configuration, refer to the operating instructions for the inverter.

Under the inverter menu item Service > General > Digital inputs, you as the installer can select the operating mode, e.g. active power control, power limitation in accordance with Section 14a of the German Energy Industry Act (EnWG) or power limitation with FNN control box.
