Configuring digital inputs

If the energy supplier requires a limit to be set, this should be configured via the digital inputs, depending on the type of connected components.

A remote control receiver, control box or smart meter gateway is always connected to the MDC host inverter. The MDC host inverter then distributes the received signals to all MDC client inverters and ensures correct power limitation.

Under the inverter menu item Service > General > Digital Inputs, you as the installer can select the operating mode, e.g. active power control, power limitation in accordance with Section 14a of the German Energy Act (EnWG) or power limitation with an FNN control box.
