Phase load

The current load per phases at the grid connection point and the unbalanced phase load during a charging process are shown under Phase load.

Overload protection

Overload protection shows the current consumption or feed-in per phase. If the value exceeds the limit range of the rated current shown (shaded area), the charging current is reduced in order to not overload the grid connection point and thus the house fuse (blackout protection).

The configured overload protection is shown in the settings. This is set via the DIP switch on the charging device. The lowest protection required to protect the house fuse must be set.

Unbalanced phase load

Unbalanced phase load provides an overview of the unbalanced load between the individual phases caused by the charging device. The unbalanced phase load must not exceed a particular value. In Germany, this value is currently 4600 VA or 4.6 kWh. You can set the value for the unbalanced phase load by going to Wallbox > Settings (cogwheel).

Set the maximum unbalanced phase load permitted for your country. The Energy Manager restricts the current consumption of connected and controllable consumers in order to observe the value set for the unbalanced phase load by the charging device.
