KSEM with PIKO MP plus and ENECTOR AC 3.7/11 wallbox
Only one KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter is required to monitor power and limit feed-in at the grid connection point. This is installed at the grid connection point in the house grid as shown in the illustrations.
INFO
In a device network comprising several KOSTAL inverters, the data is merged in the portal. Correct and complete visualisation can only be found in the KOSTAL Solar Portal and in the KOSTAL Solar App and not in the individual inverter.
To visualize the overall data, the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter and all KOSTAL inverters must be added in the KOSTAL Solar Portal as devices of a PV system.
If the PIKO MP plus is operated together with the ENECTOR wallbox in a PV system, both communication interfaces are required by the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter, meaning that no other devices (e.g. PLENTICORE with battery system) can be connected to the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter.
Please note the following so that the devices are shown correctly in the KOSTAL Solar Portal and/or in the KOSTAL Solar App:
- Install the PIKO MP plus in the house grid (see circuit diagram at the beginning)
- Install KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter at the grid connection point (see circuit diagram at the beginning)
- Install the ENECTOR in the house grid (see circuit diagram at the beginning)
- Connect the PIKO MP plus to the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter via the RS485 interface.
- No energy meter may be selected for the PIKO MP plus.
- Connect all devices to the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter and the Internet via LAN
- Activate Modbus protocol in PLENTICORE
- Set up PIKO MP plus in the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter. It is important that the Modbus RS485 (slave) connection used has previously been enabled in the Modbus settings.
- Set up all KOSTAL inverters in the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter
- In the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter, the time zone (e.g. Europe/Berlin) must be selected in the device settings and the time must be set correctly.
- Sending to the Solar Portal must be activated in the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter and in the inverters.
- Assign all KOSTAL inverters and the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter to a PV system in the KOSTAL Solar Portal
All devices are then displayed in the Solar Portal.
