The electric vehicle may be damaged when changing over phase usage
It is possible for the wallbox to switch between 1- and 3-phase charging, depending on the power available. This means that the wallbox requests and implements the phase change during an active charging process.
Some vehicles on the market are not compatible with this type of phase change, so, in exceptional cases, this changeover may lead to significant damage in the vehicle during charging. Please check with your vehicle manufacturer whether your vehicle supports this function. Liability for usage errors, installation errors or damage to the vehicle is explicitly excluded.
When the phase is changed over while the charging plug is plugged into the vehicle, the charging process is always terminated before the phase is changed over. The charging process is interrupted for approximately 30 seconds.
If you are unsure whether your vehicle supports this function, unplug the charging plug before changing over the phase. Then, change phases and plug in the charging plug again.
Select the maximum number of phases with which you want to charge your electric vehicle. Three-phase charging is the default setting. However, you can use this setting to charge all electric vehicles, no matter whether you want single-phase, two-phase or three-phase. The electric vehicle determines the maximum charging power.
For three-phase electric vehicles, here you can change the number of phases for charging from three-phase to single-phase charging, which reduces the charging power to 1.4-3.7 kW. This is a good idea if you want to use Solar Pure Mode, for example, and do not have sufficient solar energy available (e.g. during spring or autumn). In this case, the vehicle can be charged with pure solar energy as of a surplus of 1.4 kW.
- Standard (three-phase)
The three-phase electric vehicle can be charged with a power of between 4.1 - 11 kW. - Single-phase:
The electric vehicle can be charged with a power of between 1.4 - 3.7 kW.
