Smart Grid power limitation
The power limitation that is currently active and was last set by the grid operator is displayed (if active) under Smart Grid power limitation. The period of validity of this power limit is also displayed.
If a smart meter gateway/control box transfers a signal to the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter via EEBus, the power of the controllable consumer (e.g. ENECTOR) is reduced for the specified period of time to the value at the grid connection point.
If there is a power limitation because the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter is experiencing connection issues, the message Power limitation is active with drop-off values is displayed.
The following properties are also displayed under More information:
- Last heartbeat: The amount of time that has passed since the last heartbeat message was received by the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter.
- Drop-off values if connection lost: The power limitation to be used and the duration of its use if the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter experiences connection issues.
