Internal power meter / transformer
The KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter can directly measure up to 63A per external wire. External transformers are used for higher currents. If your device is connected to a transformer, this can be set here.

You will find a description of the electrical connection for transformers with an indirect measurement in the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter's installation manual.
If transformers are being used, the following requirements are recommended. A list of recommended transformers can be found in the download area for the product.
- 100 A primary
- 5 A secondary
- Accuracy class 1
To do this, enable Use current transformer and set the transformer ratio. Common transformer ratios are provided in the drop-down list.
If the ratio is not included in the list, click on Other and enter it manually. The primary current may be between 1 and 5000. The secondary current is fixed at 5 A.
