Communication

The inverter has various interfaces for communication purposes. These establish a connection to other inverters, sensors, energy meters or a link to the Internet.

• RS485/Modbus (RTU)
• Data loggers or energy meters are connected to the Modbus interface to record the energy flow.
• LAN or WiFi can be used to connect the inverter to the local network via which it can then access the Internet and solar portal.

All data is transmitted encrypted.

For local access to the inverter:

• Bluetooth connection

Examples of what can be achieved via the KOSTAL PIKO CI Conf Tool and Bluetooth connection include initial commissioning or configuring the inverter.
