Connecting inverter to app

For the inverter's initial commissioning, the inverter is connected to the smartphone via Bluetooth.

  1. Switch on the inverter.
  2. Turn on the Bluetooth function on your tablet or smartphone.
  3. Launch the KOSTAL PIKO CI Conf Tool app.
  4. Permit access to locations, camera and data storage on the smartphone.
  5. Select the Bluetooth connection in the KOSTAL PIKO CI Conf Tool app to connect with the inverter.

    If there are a lot of metal parts in the installation environment of the inverter – e.g. support frames, connecting cables, enclosures – the range of the radio connection may be impaired. Change position if you experience connection problems.

  8. A list of inverters is displayed (devices are displayed in the following form: PIKO CI 100 <the last 4 numbers of the serial number>).
    If the inverter is not included, go to Scan new devices.
  9. Scan the serial number on the type plate. If you are not able to do this, the serial number can be entered manually by going to Enter SN.
  10. The app displays the discovered inverters.
  11. Select the inverter you want to start up.
  1. When the app displays the message Connect, the inverter is connected.
