The energy management system controls the distribution of energy between the DC side (battery) and the AC side (domestic grid and public grid). To do this, the energy management system checks whether there is any consumption on the domestic grid. The logic of the energy management system calculates and controls the optimal use of PV energy. Priority is given to using the generated PV energy for the home’s own consumption. The remaining generated PV energy is fed into the public grid and remunerated.
