Grid connection
Selection of the connected energy meter on the inverter and the feed-in limitation to the public grid.
This menu item is not available on an MDC client inverter. The settings are made on the MDC host inverter.
INFO

The settings in this menu can only be configured after logging in as the installer.

Explanation |
|---|---|
Energy meter | Selection of connected energy meter. |
Sensor position | Select the position of the installed energy meter in the building services. The energy meter must be installed at the grid connection point (position 2). Position 1 (household consumption path) is not possible. Grid connection point = position 2 |
Limitation of active power to [W] (configurable without service code) | Set the max. feed-in capacity. Requirements relating to this are generally specified by the energy supply company (e.g. a limitation to 60 %). The inverter's max. power serves as the default. Use the calculator to easily calculate the reduction. |
Limitation of grid power consumption (configurable without service code) | Set the maximum grid power consumption. Here you can set a value that is lower than the maximum inverter power. This is used, for example, to charge a connected battery with less power than is possible. |
Enable reception of broadcast control signals | If a ripple control receiver is connected to the digital inputs of another inverter, the signals for active and reactive power control can be distributed to all inverters in the local area network (LAN) via UDP broadcast. A local energy manager can also generate signals for active and reactive power control in the local network. Enabled: The inverter is controlled by a ripple control receiver connected to another inverter. Deactivated (default): The signals are not evaluated. The inverter is not controlled by a ripple control receiver connected to another inverter. For inverters that have been configured as MDC clients or MDC hosts, this menu item is enabled by default and cannot be changed. |
