Check cable connections and plugs
DANGER

Risk of death due to electrical shock and discharge!
The PV generators/cables may be live as soon as they are exposed to light.
DANGER

Danger of death from electric shock and electrical discharge!
Insulation faults in cables and connectors can lead to electric shock.
Proceed as follows when checking cable connections and plugs:
- Switch off the inverter.
- Check the cables and plugs. If there is any damage to the cables or plugs, inform an installer immediately so that the damage can be repaired. Do not switch the inverter back on. Prevent other people from touching the damaged parts.
Insulation faults in cables and connectors can result in electric shock. Switching off the inverter prevents this and also prevents the inverter from being destroyed if someone jiggles the cables or connectors during the inspection and causes a ground fault.
The following error messages may indicate insulation damage. Switch off the inverter before checking the DC cabling.
- 1039 Fault current too high.
- 1044 Insulation resistance lower than the normative limit value.
