Note the following before connecting the DC plugs
- In order to ensure an optimal layout of the solar modules and the highest possible yields, the system should be designed within the voltage range between UMPPmin and UMPPmax. KOSTAL Solar Plan should be used as a planning tool for this.
- Check for the correct planning and wiring of the modules and then measure the DC idling voltage.
- Please ensure that the maximum permitted DC idling voltage is not exceeded.
- Log these measuring values and make them available in the event of complaints.
- If the output of the solar modules is higher than that specified in the technical data, it must be ensured that the working point is still within the MPP voltage range of the inverter.
- The solar module types used in one PV string should all be the same. This avoids loss of yield.
- The maximum short-circuit current of the PV string must not exceed the maximum permissible short-circuit current of the inverter's DC connections.
Failure to comply with this will render any manufacturer's warranty, guarantee or liability null and void unless it can be proven that the damage was not due to non-compliance.
