Recording home consumption
INFO
In order for the home consumption to be displayed, a compatible energy meter must be installed in the house network.
Connecting up an external energy meter (via Modbus RTU) enables the inverter to monitor and optimally control the flow of energy in the home for 24 hours.
The PV energy generated is primarily used for consumers (such as lights, the washing machine or television).
The energy generated above and beyond this can be stored temporarily in a battery storage device or fed into the public grid.
INFO
For battery storage to be connected to the inverter, DC input 3 must be released for battery use. To do this, an activation code must be entered in the inverter. The activation code can be purchased from the KOSTAL Solar online shop. Activating battery connection
