Storing energy

If external battery storage is connected to DC input 3 on the inverter (can be released using the battery activation code), the PV energy generated can be stored and accessed later on for self-consumption.

The connection and battery use at the DC input 3 on the inverter must be released beforehand in the inverter. To do this, the battery activation code can be purchased from the KOSTAL Solar online shop.

Using the smart generation and consumption forecast allows usage of the generated energy to be optimised (in addition to simply storing power) and all power limitations stipulated by law are fulfilled at the same time.
