Ripple control receiver/smart meter

Once the system reaches a certain size, which may vary from one country to the next, the use of a ripple control receiver is mandatory. In some instances, the energy provider also requires a smart meter to be installed.

If a smart meter gateway is fitted in your house installation, the inverter can be connected to the smart meter gateway using a control box. The control box is connected to the inverter like a ripple control receiver.
