Performing a manual update of the KOSTAL HELIVOR battery

The battery can be easily updated via the web server.

  1. Access the web server, see Accessing the Webserver.
  2. Select the Update menu item.
  3. Download the update file for the battery from the manufacturer's website to your computer.

    You can find the latest update in the download area for the product on our website at www.kostal-solar-electric.com

  5. Press the Select upload file button and select the update file (*.bin) on your computer or drag the update file into the field.
  6. Start the installation by clicking Upload and run.
  7. The battery will recognise the update file and start the installation.
  8. If you want to install the software update, confirm the question with OK.
  9. The software update will be installed.
  10. Once the software update has been successfully installed, you can check the current FW version of the software.
    To do this, call up the following menu item in the inverter's web server: Battery > Battery info.
